Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Our Commitment

ATS Mate does not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

This is not a recent policy change — it is how ATS Mate has operated since day one. We have no employer partners, no recruiter databases, and no ad networks. Our only revenue comes from subscription fees paid by you.

Data We Collect

We only collect data necessary for providing and securing the service:

• Account information (email, name) — for authentication and transactional communication
• Resume content (work experience, education, skills) — for the core resume builder functionality. Stored on EU infrastructure, never shared with third parties
• Payment reference (Stripe token, plan tier) — for subscription management. We never store your full card number
• Security data (IP address, User-Agent) — for rate limiting, bot protection and fraud prevention. Automatically purged after 90 days
• Share link analytics (visitor device type, timestamp, approximate location) — visible only to you in your dashboard, never shared externally

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies
• We do not fingerprint your device beyond standard HTTP signals for security
• We do not build advertising profiles
• We do not train AI or machine-learning models on your resume content

Third-Party Services

We use a minimal set of third-party services strictly to operate ATS Mate:

None of these services receive your personal data for their own marketing or advertising purposes. A current list of sub-processors is referenced in our Privacy Policy, Section 7.

Your Rights

Under CCPA / CPRA (California residents)

• Right to know — what personal data we collect and how it is used
• Right to delete — request deletion of your personal data
• Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t sell, but you can formally opt out)
• Right to non-discrimination — for exercising your privacy rights
• Right to correct — inaccurate personal information
• Right to limit — use of sensitive personal information

Under GDPR (EU/EEA residents)

• Right of access — request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — “right to be forgotten”
• Right to data portability — export in PDF or JSON
• Right to restriction — limit how we process your data
• Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interest

How to Exercise Your Rights

You can exercise any of these rights by:

• Data Request form: Submit a request via our Data Request (GDPR / CCPA) page
• Self-service: Delete your account and export your data from Settings at any time
• Email: Send a data request to privacy@atsmate.app with the subject “Data Request (GDPR / CCPA)”

We will respond within 14 days (GDPR allows 30, CCPA allows 45). We will verify your identity before processing the request. We will never charge a fee for exercising your rights.
